I made this widget last weekend for myself to match the icon sets that I was working on.  After my Instagram and Twitter posts several people requested that I make it available so here it is :-)

Free Simple Bar UCCW Widget

Posted by on Oct 9, 2012 in Android, Themes, UCCW Skins | 0 comments

I have been using this widget layout in a lot of my screen shots lately and have gotten several requests about it.  I have named it Simple Bar and am posting it with several of the background images that I've been using to match the themes that you've seen it paired with.

This widget was created using a 5×5 grid layout so if you're using a standard 4×4 layout you may need to tweak it.

Ribbon Banner UCCW Widget for Android

I've been planning to post this UCCW Widget quite a while ago but when I went to post it the developer updated the app and there were a bunch of bugs.  It seems that he has leveled it out now so here it is.

I made it using a 5×2 widget so you may have to tweak it to make it work for other sizes or grid layouts.

Setting Your Own Location in PerPageHTML Widgets

Posted by on Jul 22, 2012 in Tutorials | 0 comments

This is rapidly becoming one of the most asked questions that I'm getting and I've only posted a few widgets so I wanted to post a tutorial on how to change it.  There are no set standards for PerPageHTML so there are a few various scripts out there that use different manners of setting location.

Typically you'll see an HTML file inside your widget folder such as "widget.html" or "wallpaper.html".  You'll want to open this file in your text viewer and search for var locale.

You should find something that looks like this var locale = '12345678' or this var locale = "USAB1234"

If your widget has a location ID like this: USWA0374 you need to go to Weather.com and search your location by City and State(not by zip code because it will give you a different URL).  Once you select your location the page will refresh with a new URL that will include your location ID towards the end of it(see picture below).

If your widget has a location ID like this: 12799313 you need to go to Weather.Yahoo.com and search your location by City and State(not by zip code because it seems to always give me errors).  Once you select your location the page will refresh with a new URL that will include your location ID towards the end of it(see picture below).

Once you have your location ID, copy it and paste it into your widget then save and respring.  After springing you should see the correct location information displayed on your widget.
